Winfield Township Supervisor

Supervisor Nicole Prater was appointed as Winfield Township Supervisor December 4, 2020. Supervisor Prater has resided in Warrenville for over 20 years. She is married to Mike Prater and has an infant son. Supervisor Prater is a graduate of Wheaton Warrenville South High School, College of DuPage, and Northern Illinois University. Prater is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and served one tour in the Middle East. She is a Life Member of Warrenville VFW, and a member of the Warrenville American Legion. She served as a Warrenville Park District Board member (April 2015 to December 2020) and a Precinct Committeeman for the Winfield Township. Previously Nicole was the Winfield Township Clerk prior to being appointed the Winfield Township Supervisor. She looks forward to providing service to her community to the fullest.

Amy is honored to be among those representing non-traditional families and their children who attend CUSD200 schools and call this community home. She is an advocate for a balanced Board—one that reflects a healthy diversity of viewpoints, backgrounds, cultures, and skills—working collaboratively with kindness for the benefit of our schools. Her priorities include advancing safety policies for students and staff, improving academic outcomes, and ensuring fiscal conservatism by questioning unnecessary expenses and directing resources to areas of true need.

Ives served three terms in the Illinois House from 2013 to 2018.
In the 2020 election, Ives ran for U.S. House in Illinois’s 6th congressional district. She won the Republican primary on March 17, securing over 70 percent of the vote against surgeon Jay Kinzler.
